Dominic Shannon meets the Dynamic Duo...

Well let me be totally honest here Franklin D Roosevelt and Winston Churchill were two of the 20th centuries greatest super hero's and here pictured with them both is "Mr Cabarazzi" aka Dominic Shannon.

Yes Dominic shot to fame when his photographic work was displayed in a gallery in Camden and then the whirlwind arrived he ended up featured in the Times and on the bbc breakfast sofa being interviewed about his photographic technique. If Dominic sees it he snaps it all from the front of a London taxi-cab, now less of the pointing finger young man...

Mark Solomon meets Jan Christian Smuts...

Here next to the statue of Jan Christian Smutt's is Mark Solomon looking rather serious even thoughtful. When you see the standard of this chap's photographic work, you will soon realise we are on for a very interesting journey.

Mark is a creative guy who is know to dance a little too, though he likes the idea of promoting the diverse talents of many within the London taxi trade and through the eye of the lens Mark intends to showcase his obvious photographic skills...

Mark Solomon a very creative cabbie.

Welcome...

Well here we are three London taxi-cab drivers who have decided to put other skills and attributes we have to good use and impart a little knowledge of this wonderful city called London along the way. Monuments and Statues of London will take you on a journey through this nations history and you will in fact travel through a portal of time discovering why or what these people who stand upon plinths have actually done, who sculpted and vitally who actually paid for them.

This site will display the photographic work of two of my colleagues Mark Solomon "Creative Cabbies and "Mr Cabarazzi" Dominic Shannon, me well my name is John Kennedy alias "John the cabby". The photographic work of these two is second to none and over time we shall create walks which will allow you to appreciate this wonderful city.

London probably displays more monuments and statues that any other major city for we have always respected and honoured those who do great things or payed the ultimate price and scarified their lives for the freedom and betterment of others.

Welcome to Monuments and Statues of London we do hope you enjoy...
